PJ had an interest in the construction industry and specifically in home building from a very early age. He learned early in life from his father, “there are no shortcuts, only hard work.” Having more than 30 years in the home building and real estate business, PJ believes strongly in the value of having a great team. If you take care of your team, they will take care of your customers.

After high school PJ attended a trade school to learn construction from the ground up. He gathered knowledge and learned the craft of home building by physically doing the hands-on hard work.

In his early 20s PJ was given an opportunity to work as a project manager for a high-end custom builder in Greenwich CT. There, he quickly learned the value of communication and accountability. After relocating to Wilmington NC in the late 90s, PJ went to work for one of southeast North Carolinas largest regional developer / home builders. He served as vice president for more than 20 years. While there, he gained vast knowledge of sales and marketing, construction, financial goals, all aspects of business.

PJ believes in listening to his team, valuing their time and ideas, all while holding them accountable. With each home built, he strives to deliver a quality product while communicating throughout the process.

When PJ is not working, you’ll find him with his family enjoying the beach, watching his son surf and his daughter playing volleyball.

Jessica is the absolute glue of our office! She’s a take charge, get things done kind of gal. She’s our Operations Director which means Director of Everything — estimating/purchasing, HOA submittals, permitting, selections and most importantly, keeping our customers happy!

Jessica’s background is varied which prepared her for the various tasks she handles every day. She is a mom, was a top selling real estate agent, an executive assistant, a professional mover (moving 16 times in 32 years,) and a design selections specialist (building 5 homes in those years) – shew!

When she’s relaxing, Jess enjoys traveling and fly fishing.

Matthew, one of our field supervisors, knew early on that he would learn best by hands-on experience. Always following his father PJ to jobs, he would ask thousands of questions, so it seemed fitting that he would take a similar path of “not shortcuts, only hard work.”

Having been described as thoughtful, caring, and personable, Matthew uses these qualities out in the field, supervising the construction of building homes.

An avid outdoorsman, Matthew worked for several years for a local hardware store on Wrightsville Beach, where he enjoyed helping customers and working outside. The recipient of multiple awards throughout school for coachability and hard work, it is relevant that he would follow in his dads’ footsteps.

In Matthew’s spare time you will most definitely find him on the water surfing, boating or fishing.

Meet Andi, our incredible Controller! She has 20+ years of accounting experience, 9 of which have been in the construction/homebuilding industry. She is a certified HR professional and keeps us all in check!

Andi joined the Coastline Homes team because she loves working with a small but mighty group of talented individuals that love what they do and genuinely care about each other’s well-being and successes.

When Andi’s not working, you’ll find her hanging with her kids, 4 grandkiddos and taking care of her baby, a Dodge Challenger.
